Musical stage is set for Hollywood star Russell Crowe in Leeds

Now, though, Russell Crowe is embarking on a musical sideline as part of a band called Indoor Garden Party.
And, given his well-documented love of Leeds United, it’s perhaps no surprise that the band will be playing a show in Yorkshire’s unofficial capital in support of their soon-to-be released album.

And, in 2015, he even dropped a tantalising hint via Twitter that he might consider buying the club. Crowe was urged to plough some of his fortune into United in a light-hearted tweet by fellow Whites supporter Sam Wild.
Rather than dismissing the notion out of hand, the actor replied: “Anybody else think this is a good idea?”
Crowe is already the co-owner of Australian rugby league side South Sydney Rabbitohs.
