More acts announced for Live at Leeds 2018 festival


The city’s international music festival helped propel Ed Sheeran, The 1975 and Bastille to global success.
Now, a new batch of “indie royalty” are hoping to make it big in the city.

Hide AdPeace, Circa Waves and The Horrors have already been announced as performing in the music showcase this May.
New additions to the line-up include guitar legends Ash, Dermot Kennedy, Sunset Sons and Liverpudlian rockabilly Louis Berry.
“I love Leeds. It’s a boss place,” said Berry.
“Leeds is definitely one of the cities that stands out.”
On joining the bill, Pulled Apart By Horses said: “We’re always buzzing to be part of it.
“Nothing beats a good old hometown show. Roll on May.”
The Live At Leeds weekend kicks off on May 4 with a free Momentum Music Fund Showcase at The Wardrobe, featuring supported artists like Our Girl.
Festival director Andy Smith said: “There’s still plenty more to be announced for this year and maybe a few surprises along the way.”
