Meanwood crash: Woman taken to hospital after being rescued from car by firefighters

A woman has been taken to hospital after being rescued from a car in Leeds.

Two cars crashed on Tongue Lane, Meanwood, at about 9.30pm on Wednesday.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Moortown and Cookridge to the scene.

Firefighters rescued an injured woman who was trapped in one of the cars.

She was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
