A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Leeds.

It happened at about 10.15pm on Thursday, April 22 on York Road.
A 45-year-old man was hit by a red Vauxhall Corsa near to the junction with Upper Accommodation Road.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
His injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police are appealing for information following the crash.
