Man sought over Dewsbury girl's abduction

Kirklees CID would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man or has any information about the incident which happened on February 21 this year.

The victim was forced into a car on Huddersfield Road, Westtown, at around 10.30pm and was driven to Bradford and Halifax before being driven back to Dewsbury, where the man attempted to sexually assault her but she managed to escape.

The suspect is described as an Asian male with dark brown eyes, dark curly hair and beard, aged in his 20s.

Detective Constable Michael Smith said: “We are investigating this incident and would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man pictured in the E-Fit.

“The victim is extremely distressed by the incident and we are keen to locate this man. I would like to stress that this is an isolated incident and no other incidents have been reported.
