Major employers are just the job for Leeds digital careers fair
The Royal Air Force and mobile network operator EE are among the latest employers signed up for next month's Leeds Digital Job Fair.
The fair is being held for the fourth time and is taking place at the city’s First Direct Arena from 3.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 28.
Organised by online jobs board Herd, it is being backed by the Leeds Business Improvement District, Leeds City Council, Leeds Beckett University and the arena.
The fair has also announced a link-up with Leeds-based recruiter Fruition IT to ensure attendees get the best possible advice on accessing digital job opportunities.
Herd founder Amy De-Balsi said: “The quality of exhibitors already signed up is higher than ever before and having both EE and the RAF on board provides another huge boost.
“It will also be terrific to have Fruition IT partnering with us in a co-ordinated drive to fill the many digital and tech vacancies that Leeds proudly boasts.
“They are an independent, service-driven recruitment agency that sources candidates for roles across the IT sector.
“Fruition IT staff will be present to talk to attendees about the attractive vacancies they have on offer from an impressive suite of clients.
“Their expertise complements Herd’s insights and experiences as a successful online jobs board, adding another exciting dimension to Leeds Digital Job Fair 4.0.”
