Main road in Kirkstall to close for emergency gas repairs

Kirkstall Hill has been closed today for three days of emergency gas main repair work.

Northern Gas Networks discovered faults while carrying out maintenance of the pipeline, and have now shut the road between Eden Road and Eden Drive.

The work will finish by 4pm on Sunday. During this time a diversion route will be in place via Cardigan Road and Kirkstall Lane or via Willow Road and Kirkstall Road.
