M1 crash causes delays for commuters
LATE morning commuters are experiencing severe traffic delays on the M1 near Leeds after a three-car crash.
One lane and the hard shoulder are closed after the collision on the M1 southbound between J45, for the A63 and Leeds Cross Green, and J46, for the A63 at Colton.
Highways England said normal traffic conditions are expected from around 11.45am.
West Yorkshure Fire Service were called to the incident at 9.40am as the rush hour was coming to an end.
Crews from Leeds, Killlingbeck and Rothwell attended the incident.
No one was trapped but one female casualty was treated by the Ambulance Service, a spokesperson said.
