Leeds youngster undergoes hair-oic challenge

A Leeds youngster had her hair chopped off in order to raise money for an ill friend of hers.

Cailey Tomlinson, aged seven, had her locks cut off in front an assembly at Summerfield Primary School.

Cailey underwent the brave feat to raise funds for Grace’s Next Step Appeal.

The appeal, which has a fundraising target of £60,000, is trying to enable Grace Lawson, who suffers from cerebral palsy, to undergo a life-changing operation. Cailey has already raised nearly £900 towards the appeal, which is supported by The Tree Of Hope charity.
