Leeds theatre reveals panto plans as tickets go on sale

With 288 days until Christmas, City Varieties is preparing for festive fun as this year’s pantomime is announced.

The venue will host Sleeping Beauty the Rock ’n’ Roll Panto at Christmas, with tickets on sale now.

Ian Sime, general manager, said: “Our Rock’n’Roll Pantos have been popular since they were first introduced in 2011.

“Part music gig, part stage show with stunning staging and colourful costumes, it’s a hilarious, high-speed show.

“Our only advice is to book early as it’s very popular.”
