Leeds street is one of the'¨country's most expensive


Roundhay Park Lane is the only street in the whole of Yorkshire to feature in the list and comes in at number 10, with an average property value of £1,731,040.
The number-crunching statistics have been compiled by property website Zoopla, which last night revealed its 2017 Rich List – the ultimate guide to the most expensive streets based on average house prices.

Hide AdTop of the list outside of London was Golf Club Road, Weybridge in Surrey which will set you back £5,937,835.
Mark Goldstone, head of business representation and policy at West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, said the £4m-plus price difference shows you get more for your money in the North.
He said: “It is good to see Leeds feature in this list, recognition that the city can command prices of this magnitude.
“The bigger story for me is just how much more affordable housing is in the North compared to the greater south east, something we should really be shouting about especially when companies are seeking to invest or expand in the UK.”

Hide AdRoundhay Park Lane has seen a consistent rise in prices and houses are worth around £750,000 more than other properties with the LS17 postcode, which average at £250,000.
The most expensive street in the country is Kensington Palace Gardens, London with an average house price coming in at £35,696,711.
