Leeds school surpasses donation targets by providing staggering contribution to St George's Crypt
In a remarkable display of community spirit, Beecroft Primary School has made a staggering contribution to St George's Crypt, exceeding all expectations with a generous donation of 90kg of sugar, 7.5kg of coffee and 5000 teabags. Beecroft also donated a substantial cheque for £1500 towards the charity.
The kind-hearted efforts of the school's children, parents and teachers will provide vital support to those in need over the coming weeks.
Special thanks go out to Headteacher Miss June Turner and the entire Beecroft Primary School community for their outstanding support, which is truly making a difference in the lives of those served by St George's Crypt.
Rev. Andy Muckle, Chaplain to St George’s Crypt, visited the school on Monday to accept the generous donation. He said, ‘Their kindness and support is greatly appreciated here at the crypt, and this collection will feed those in need over the coming weeks.’
St George’s Crypt is a charity based in Leeds City Centre that provides support for those who are homeless and in need of shelter.
