Leeds retail scheme could be up-and-running in 2017
Discount retail giant Lidl is planning a store at the former Belgrave Works site off Town Street in Stanningley.
The development would also be home to seven smaller shops as well as parking for around 240 cars.

If all goes according to schedule, the new shops could be open in spring next year.
A recent event at St John’s Methodist Church providing information about the scheme was attended by more than 60 people, all of whom gave their backing to the proposals.
Lidl senior consultant James Hanna said: “The prospect of creating over 130 jobs in the local community is a welcome boost for residents and many have welcomed the idea of regenerating a derelict site which has stood empty for many years.
“Lidl is passionate about investing in the local area and we believe the development will significantly enhance the quality of current shopping provision in Stanningley.”
