Leeds MP meets the team at care centre

ELMET and Rothwell MP Alec Shelbrooke did the honours at the official opening of the Augustus Court care centre in Garforth.

Mr Shelbrooke presented staff at the £5.7m home with certificates marking the successful completion of their training.

The MP said: “This significant investment is fantastic for our local economy and the care sector in the local area.”

Augustus Court is run by Meridian Healthcare.
