Leeds baker Nadiya through to Bake Off final
LEEDS’ own Bake Off star Nadiya Hussain stormed her way to the finals of the BBC competition with an impressive array of creations.
Nadiya won star baker for the third time in Wednesday’s semi-final, with a disastrous chocolate souffle forgotten after she impressed judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood with her chocolate peanut tart and peacock centrepiece.
Scottish baker Flora Shedden left, meaning Nadiya will face Ian Cumming and Tamal Ray in the final. William Hill have Nadiya as the 2/5 favourite to win.
