Join the #YEPleeds reader panel

Do you live or work in Leeds? Do you have a passion for the city and its surrounding areas? Are you not afraid of voicing your opinion?

If so, we’d like you to join us to be the voice of our readers and to help us shape the paper now and for the future.

We want a group of people who are willing to give their opinions on a range of topics.

It could be as diverse as your recommendation for a great Sunday lunch in Leeds or what you think of the European referendum.

We may ask you to help us chose a subject for a news campaign, or give us ideas for what projects the Yorkshire Evening Post should get behind and support – we may even ask you to guest edit the paper.

We’ll make sure there are opportunities to come into the newsroom to have a look behind the scenes at how our paper is put together and you can meet some of the people involved in writing, producing and selling our paper.

So, if you’re interested, what do you need to do?

All we need is for you to email the Yorkshire Evening Post editor Nicola Furbisher, at [email protected] saying why you’d like to be considered for our reader panel.

Please let us know your connection with Leeds, your age and gender and any groups or organisations you are involved with.

Once we have chosen our panel we will ask people to send in a photograph of themselves and up to 250 words about who they are.

We’ll need you to have an email and a daytime phone number we can contact you on, but that won’t be for publication.
