Jobs milestone is cause for celebration at Leeds business park

A LEEDS business park has signed up a new tenant '“ taking the total number of employees at the site through the 1,600 barrier.

Barratt Homes has moved into Raynham House at Capitol Park, near Morley and junction 28 of the M62.

The firm has brought more than 80 staff to the site, which was developed by Sterling Capitol.

Mike Heydecke, director of Sterling Capitol, said: “Job creation has always been at the heart of our company’s plans at our three Yorkshire business parks in Leeds, Barnsley and Goole.

“Breaking the 1,600 jobs barrier at Capitol Park makes us very proud indeed.”

Other companies at the site include Hermes, Henderson Insurance Brokers, dePuy, AvailableCar and Ideal Heating.

New arrival Barratt Homes has taken up 12,700 sq ft of space.
