Police are appealing for anyone who might have been offered the distinctive items to get in touch with them.

A silver and red Pandora shoe charm, a gold ring with a garnet surrounded by opals and green stones, a gold ring with a blue sapphire and a gold necklace with a bean shaped garnet were stolen from the house in Soothill Lane, Batley between 6am on Saturday 18 and 8pm on Sunday 19 July.

West Yorkshire Police said a large amount of cash was also stolen.

PC Paul James of the Kirklees Burglary Team said: “The items stolen are of huge sentimental value to the owners and I am urging anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area during the times stated to come forward. Equally, if anyone has been invited to buy the items described, or who may have seen them for sale, I would ask they speak to police.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Paul James at Kirklees District Burglary Team via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
