Hyde Park Corner crash: Police release statement on crash which caused traffic chaos in Leeds
Police have released a statement on a crash which caused traffic chaos in Leeds.
Two cars crashed at the junction between Headingley Lane and Hyde Park Road, known locally as Hyde Park Corner, at 12.40pm.
Police closed the junction to all traffic as they recovered the vehicles.
The closure caused heavy traffic on Headingley Lane, backing up towards Headingley and the city centre.
A police spokesperson has confirmed that no one was injured in the crash.
They added: "Some disruption to traffic while the scene was cleared – road open by 2pm."
