Hub for entrepeneurs to cut own cloth

The Creative, Fashion and Textile Hub is set to launch later this month within the historic Hainsworth mill, home to AW Hainsworth which has been in business for 230 years.

It will create a working environment alongside fellow creative entrepreneurs with access to training, mentoring and network events and Hainsworth products.

Simon Baldwin, Acting Head of Enterprise at the university said: “Our fashion degree courses at Leeds Beckett will produce their first graduates next summer and this facility provides a viable option for students to consider establishing their own business.
