Help reward a local hero. Call on Leeds community to nominate a star

Housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, is calling on the community in Leeds to nominate a selfless local hero to be recognised with a permanent fixture at its Bodington Manor development in Adel.

In celebration of its 5 star rating in the recent HBF (Home Builders Federation) customer satisfaction survey, David Wilson Homes is urging locals to submit candidates to be recognised at Bodington Manor with an engraved golden star that will be installed within its public open space.

David Wilson Homes is recognising five individuals that have proven their commitment to local initiatives, through charity work or good deeds, at its developments across the region, with one person to be honoured at each chosen site.

Dan Hardcastle, sales manager at Bodington Manor, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to reward a local hero at Bodington Manor and are urging the residents of Leeds to put forward their most deserving stars, whether this is an individual working with a charity, a particular group or a member of the public who has done a particularly good deed. Just pop by to our Bodington Manor development and post your suggestions in our ballot box!”

Leeds locals can nominate candidates by placing named recommendations, along with a reason for the nomination, into a ballot box at Bodington Manor’s sales office until Sunday July 2, 2017.

The community hero receiving the most votes will then be honoured at the site with an engraved star baring their name and contribution to the local area.

The HBF nationwide survey lists the UK’s best housebuilders according to those that have the highest customer recommendation scores, requiring a score over 90% to allow housebuilders to be credited with 5 star status.

At David Wilson Homes’ Bodington Manor development in Leeds, 100% of customers say they would recommend its homes to a friend.
