Heavy traffic after car overturns on M62 following collision
A car has overturned on the M62 eastbound near Castleford, sparking heavy delays for motorists.
The entire eastbound carriageway was closed between junctions 31 and 32 this morning from around 10.30am, after a car ended up on its roof following a collision near the A639 Pontefract turnoff.
Diversions were put in place as the scene was cleared and all lanes have since reopened.
Delays are still affecting drivers but normal traffic flow is due to resume within the next hour.
