The Full Monty comes to Leeds

A team of well known TV personalities will be giving it The Full Monty when they take to the stage in Leeds later this month.

An extra date has already been added to the Leeds programme which runs from Monday November 28 to Saturday December 3. The extra performance is on Thursday December 1 at 2.30pm.

The cast features Gary Lucy who has starred in Hollyoaks, The Bill and Footballer’s Wives. Playing the central character of Gaz, he will be joined by Andrew Dunn (Dinnerladies, Bremner, Bird and Fortune) as Gerald, Louis Emerick (Brookside and Last of The Summer Wine) as Horse, Chris Fountain (Hollyoaks and Coronation Street) as Guy and Kai Owen (Torchwood and Hollyoaks) as Dave.

Anthony Lewis is now 
filling in for the role of 
Lomper.

The show, at Leeds Grand Theatre, is being directed by Jack Ryder who is probably best known for playing the character of Jamie Mitchell in EastEnders for four years.

The Full Monty, created by Simon Beaufoy, was released in 1997 about out of work steel-workers in Sheffield becoming one of the most successful British films ever made.
