Friends cycle in memory of young Leeds man who lost fight with Crohn's disease

A dedicated group of pals cycled more than 300 miles from Scotland to Leeds in memory of a young man from the city.

Mark Adams organised a Saddle and Paddle cycling and kayak fundraiser after his nephew Joshua Sanderson Bell, from Stanningley, died aged 22 in 2014 from Crohn’s disease. Eight cyclists set off from Loch Lomond, Scotland, on Friday, to raise money for the CICRA charity, which supports those affected by the disease. They travelled 100 miles to Lake Windermere, where the group took on a 22-mile kayak event before cycling back to Leeds.
