Firefighters called to reports of a flat fire in Beeston

Firefighters were called to Beeston last night (Sunday) to reports of people trapped inside a burning flat.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Disraeli Terrace shortly after 9pm.

Neighbours had reported that people were inside the flat.

Two fire engines from Hunslet and one from Leeds attended the incident, using two hose reels and four pieces of breathing apparatus.
