Firefighters have tackled a major place at a building in the centre of Leeds.
Crews from across the city were called at 11.30pm last night to reports of a blaze at Direct Line House, in the Headrow, Leeds.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews discovered a blaze in the basement of the building. Investigations are continuing.
Appliances attended from Leeds, Gipton, Hunslet, Moortown, Stanks, Stanningley and specialist appliances from around the county attended the incident.
The fire and rescue service spokesman said firefighters had the blaze under control in the early hours of today but said crews had remained on scene to dampen down.
