A £3m flexible working space with 200 spaces and 32 offices over five floors is set to open in Leeds next month.

Avenue HQ creates business communities and is bringing its approach to modern day working to Leeds after launching a similar venture in Liverpool last year.

The Leeds building, taking over 35,000 square feet at East Parade will be bigger than Liverpool said the company.

As well as hot-desks, co-working space, private offices and communal events, the building will bring a public all-day rooftop bar to one of Leeds’ most popular areas.

There are a variety of event spaces available throughout the building including meeting rooms, a secret garden, downstairs theatre and on-site eatery which again will be open to tenants and the public.

Matthew Kennedy, CEO of Avenue HQ said: “Leeds is an exciting and vibrant city which has become the perfect base for growing businesses.

“We pride ourselves on being a community-driven business facilitating an informal business environment, where like-minded professionals, no matter what sector or size your business is, can work together.

“The nature of work is changing and our culture is focused on providing our members with the best possible environment to ensure they get the most out of their working life.”

The Leeds expansion will also create 20 jobs itself for Avenue HQ.

The interior of the building is being managed by Paragon Interiors Group which is the first business to take space in the building having committed to a10 person office.
