Grim Leodis saw competitors complete a 6.5-mile looping route, starting and ending off Wyther Lane in Kirkstall.
Those signed up chose to either take part in a single loop, two loops for the half-marathon, 20 miles for three laps or the big one - four laps of the circuit to complete the full marathon distance.
With a mixture of canal towpath, river bank, trail, and a short road section, the event remained largely dry, but after days of rain, conditions were far from ideal.
The event was organised by It’s Grim Up North Running, with all runners receiving a medal.
