Police received the call at about 5.30pm on Tuesday, May 4.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Police are attending at Abbey Walk, Kirkstall, after being informed by the ambulance service they had received a call of concern for a woman who may be in distress there.
"Initial enquiries are ongoing."
Yorkshire Air Ambulance have been contacted.
