East Leeds: Post office's first class upgrade
A LEEDS Post Office will undergo a refurbishment and extend its opening hours to help improve services for local residents.
Skelton Wood Post Office in Whinmoor is also being modernised as part of the changes.
Councillor Peter Gruen (Lab, Cross Gates and Whinmoor) said: “The Post Office at Whitelaithe Approach is very popular and well used by the local community it serves.”
Councillor Pauleen Grahame (Lab, Cross Gates and Whinmoor) said: “There are a lot of elderly people and all new services and products will be of real benefit to them.”
