East Leeds: New centre takes shape for Mencap
Work is well under way on a flagship new centre for Leeds Mencap in East End Park.
A total of 48 construction ‘modules’ that will make up the centre have now been delivered to the scheme’s site on Vinery Terrace.
The £2.6m building will replace the charity’s existing home on Londesboro Terrace.
For details on how to get involved with the Space For Me appeal that is raising the remaining funds needed for the centre, visit the www.leedsmencap.org.uk website.
