E-fit released after Bradford robbery

Police have today released an e-fit image of a man they would like to identify following a robbery in Bradford.

The offence is said to have occurred in Great Horton Road close to the city centre between 11pm on January 24 and midnight on January 25, when a 21-year-old man was approached by two males who demanded money.

The victim handed over £10 cash and tried to run from the males, who chased after him and assaulted him before stealing his phone and fleeing up Great Horton Road.

He was not injured and his phone was also retrieved by a member of the public, who confronted the culpritsafter chasing them.

Detective Inspector Matt Walker, of Bradford District CID, said: “We are appealing for this member of the public to come forward and speak to us about what happened, as he may have further information which will enable us to progress our investigation.”
