Derby County v Leeds United: Two hooligans banned after trouble at match

Officers were called to deal with incidents of disorder following the match, which took place at the iPro Stadium in Derby on Saturday, October 15.
Edward McNally, 45, of Quarry Mount Terrace, Woodhouse, Leeds, was charged with assaulting a police constable while Ashley Marriott, 23, of Villiers Court, Hedon, near Hull, was charged with using abusive or threatening words or behaviour.

Hide AdThey appeared before magistrates in Derby and were given three year football banning orders.
McNally was ordered to pay £120 compensation. Michael Barr, 23, of Poplar Grove, Hedon, and James Findlay, 26, of Gladstone Street, Glossop, were charged with using abusive or threatening words or behaviour at the match and they also appeared at court.
Their cases have been adjourned to later dates.
Police are trying to identify more people involved.
Football Intelligence Officer PC Allan Guy said: “We take violence and disorder at football matches very seriously. Genuine fans should be able to come to matches and enjoy the game without fear of violence. I hope the swift action taken in this case reminds people that it is not acceptable to cause trouble,”
