Organisers say the three-day event will be “showcasing, exposing and celebrating the most exciting local talent in street food, music, drink, art and culture”.

A message on its website said: “All of these areas represent the theme that provides the backbone to our festival; talent. We aim to expose as much as we can.

“If you can’t tell, we love the North of England and we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate this; and where better than the biggest park in God’s own county?”

Among the attractions are 20 independent street food vendors and a market bringing together producers offering vegetables, cheeses, jams, pies and crafts.
