Young serviceman robbed by 10 men and punched outside McDonald's in Leeds

The 17-year-old, who is in the Army, and his 18-year-old friend were approached by 10 males near to McDonald's on Merrion Street at about 9.30pm.
The thugs demanded their valuables and when the 17-year-old tried to stop them taking his bag, he was punched in the head by one suspect.

Hide AdThe suspects stole wallets and cash, designer clothing, Apple AirPod headphones and the 17-year-old's pass to get into his Army base.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 10.25pm on Saturday police received a report of two males, aged 17 and 18, having been robbed near to McDonald’s, in Merrion Street, Leeds, at about 9.30pm.
"A group of about 10 black males approached them and demanded their valuables.
"The 17-year-old was punched in the head a number of times by one of the suspects when he tried to stop them taking his bag.
