Police are asking people in the Selby area to check CCTV and dashcam footage and report any sightings of a convoy of stolen caravans.

Between 3pm on Monday April 26 and 12pm the following day, offenders entered a caravan storage area in a field north of Selby.

Five caravans were stolen, police said.

It is believed they were driven across fields in the direction of Cawood, and left the area in an unknown direction.

However, one line of enquiry is that they may have subsequently travelled to Sherburn in Elmet and on towards the A1(M).
