York Street stabbing: Woman arrested after man stabbed in Leeds near homeless centre

The update comes after police were called to reports of a stabbing on York Street at 10.01am this morning (Friday).

A man was taken to hospital with injuries that are serious but not life threatening and a cordon was put in place outside of St Anne’s Resource Centre, which supports the city’s homeless.

West Yorkshire Police have now confirmed that a 27-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession of class B drugs.

The cordon that was in place was also removed earlier this afternoon.
