Woodhouse Moor Hyde Park: Pictures show crowds gathering in warm weather as police stop people urinating on allotments
Hundreds of people are gathering in Woodhouse Moor on Tuesday evening as Leeds is hit with a spell of warm weather.
Pictures show the park packed with groups of people sitting outside as police patrol the Hyde Park area.
An eyewitness said officers are stopping people who are attempting to urinate on the nearby allotments.
Concerns have been raised about the lack of public toilets in the park and plans for portable toilets have been put forward by Leeds councillors.
Today's crowds follows widespread anger last month after huge amounts of litter were left behind on the park after a spell of sunny weather.
Under current Covid-19 guidelines, six people or two households are allowed to meet outdoors.
However, the council has urged people to remember to adhere to Covid safe guidelines, such as social distancing.
