Woman seriously injured after crash between Audi and Land Rover in Swillington Lane

A woman suffered a serious injury after a crash in Swillington.

It involved the driver of a silver Audi A4 and the driver of a green Land Rover Defender.

The Audi driver was travelling along Swillington Lane towards Selby Road, with the Land Rover driver travelling in the opposite direction.

The crash happened just outside Brookholme shortly before 7.30pm on Saturday (24).

The Land Rover driver, a 41-year-old woman, was taken to hospital, where she was found to have suffered a serious arm injury.

A 29-year-old man who was driving the Audi also received hospital treatment.

Police are asking anyone who saw the crash or has footage that may help the investigation to contact them.
