Woman seriously injured after being hit by lorry in Tingley

Police were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry.

It happened near the junction of Bradford Road and Thorpe Lane at 6.48pm on Monday, March 9.

The pedestrian, a woman in her twenties, remains seriously injured in hospital, a police spokeswoman said.
