Police have been flooded with calls from motorists reporting a wheelbarrow on a motorway in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police's Contact Management Centre first reported the incident at 9.39am on Friday.

The team tweeted: "Getting a large number of calls for a wheel barrow in the first lane of M1, northbound, just passed junction 42.
