West Yorkshire 15-year-old leads police on early hours stolen car chase before crashing into garden

A 15-year-old from West Yorkshire stole a car before smashing it into a front garden following a police chase.

The teen was spotted by police at 1am in Holmewood last week, the Bradford South police team said.

The car had been stolen at 10.30pm the previous evening.

After failing to stop, a chase ensued before the teen crashed the car into a tree.

The driver was arrested for theft, dangerous driving, failing to stop and document offences.

The teen was already on bail for theft, police said.
