Watch horrifying moment group of teens set fire to car in Leeds arson attack

Shocking CCTV footage provided to the Yorkshire Evening Post shows the moment the group appear to throw lighter fluid across the windscreen and then light the vehicle with a match.

The incident, which took place on Sutton Approach in Killingbeck last night (Tuesday Oct 27), was witnessed by Donna Barrow, 47, and her 15-year-old son.

Donna's neighbour captured footage of the horrific arson attack on her CCTV system.

The fire brigade are believed to have been on the scene within minutes.

"She has been shaken by the event and it looks like the car could be a write off which she is devastated about."

West Yorkshire Police are now investigating the incident.

The force said they have taken a report of criminal damage.

CCTV enquiries and house to house enquiries are currently ongoing, police confirmed.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service said they were called shortly after 9pm to the incident.

One fire engine from Killingbeck Fire Station attended.

Crews put out the fire and left at 9.40pm, the fire service said.
