A wanted man was found and a 'significant' amount of cannabis seized from a property in Leeds.

Acting on information from the community, officers searched a house in Guiseley.

The cannabis was seized along with cash, a car and other expensive items.

A man and woman were interviewed in relation to possession with intent to supply.

Officers from the Leeds North West team shared the update on Facebook on Friday, November 15.

The team said: "From your community intelligence details were provided to the Outer North West Neighbourhood Policing Team regarding a wanted male, a property in Guiseley was searched .

"A significant amount of cannabis was seized along with cash, a vehicle and various expensive items.

"A male and a female were interviewed in relation to possession with intent to supply drugs and Proceeds of Crime, further work is ongoing to secure a conviction."
