A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in Leeds which left another driver suffering from a broken leg.

A white Vauxhall Corsa and a VW Caravelle were involved in collision on Selby Road at Garforth just before 7pm last night. (Sun Feb 19)

The 49-year-old man who was driving the VW was freed from the wreckage by firefighters and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary after suffering a broken leg.

Police arrested the 36-year-old man who was driving the Corsa on suspicion of drinking and driving. He has been reported for summons.

Fire crews from Garforth and Killingbeck attended the incident
