Two stolen cars and one van taken in burglary found in Leeds

Two stolen cars and a van that was taken in a burglary have been found in Leeds.

All three vehicles were found in Belle Isle in the early hours of Wednesday, February 3.

A van and generator that had been stolen in a burglary a few weeks earlier was found parked on Newhall Croft.

Officers also found that a black car which was parked behind it had also been stolen.

Both vehicles were seized by the WYP Roads Policing Unit officers.

Later, a car with false plates drove off from police officers.

Police located the car and believe it was used in the same burglary in which the van was stolen.

Officers from the RPU said: "Vehicle on false plates makes off from officers and located.

"Believed to be stolen and used in recent burglary where a van was stolen.

"That was also located nearby with further stolen vehicle on false plates."
