Two seriously injured as three taken to hospital after crash on Leeds street

Two people suffered from serious injuries as three people were taken to hospital after a crash on a street in Leeds.

Police were called to Woodhouse Street in Leeds on Monday night after two cars crashed into each other, which also caused damage to a parked vehicle.

The crash between the Seat Leon and Peugeot at around 10pm closed the road while the cars were recovered.

A woman and a man from the Seat were taken to hospital for treatment to serious, but none life-threatening injuries.

A man from the Peugeot also received hospital treatment.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to Woodhouse Street, Leeds at about 10.10pm on Monday to a report of a collision between a Peugeot car and a Seat Leon, which also caused damage to a parked vehicle.

"A woman and man from the Seat were taken to hospital for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries and a man from the Peugeot also received hospital treatment.

The road was closed at the location while the Peugeot and Seat were recovered."
