Two people trapped in car after serious crash in Harehills

Emergency services rescued two people who were trapped inside a vehicle after a serious crash in Harehills.

The casualties were released from the vehicle by the fire service after the single vehicle crash on Roundhay Road.

They were handed over to the care of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service after the rescue.

The police and fire service were both in attendance at the crash scene shortly before 3am this morning (Sunday Oct 4)

The fire service sent two engines from Leeds Central Station to deal with the incident.
