Two people have been injured and a police investigation launched after officers were called to a 'party gone wrong' in Armley on Sunday

Police were called to Poplar Close in LS13 in the early hours of the morning after members of the public reported a disturbance.

When officers arrived they found a 'party gone wrong' and two people had been injured.

West Yorkshire Police are now investigating reports of damage, assault and possible breaches of Covid regulations.

Police were called to Poplar Close to reports of assault at a party.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Police were called to Poplar Close at 5.25am on Sunday, March 21 to reports of a disturbance.

"The incident was a party that had gone wrong".

"Two people were injured, but the injuries are not considered serious.

"Officers are now investigating reports of damage, assault and Covid-19 breaches.

"No arrests have been made.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

Police have asked any witnesses with information to contact them on 1010 quoting log 320 of March 21.
