Two men arrested after large convoy of illegal quad bikers reported in Leeds

Police have arrested two men and seized a number of illegal vehicles after a 'large convoy' of quad bikers were reported in Leeds.

The illegal bikers were spotted riding across west Leeds and Bradford on Saturday.

A joint operation from Bradford's Steerside Enforcement Team and officers from Leeds West and Leeds North West saw the group tracked down.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said two men were arrested for various offences.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the other suspects in the convoy.

Leeds West patrol officer Chris Cahill said: "The public may have seen a large convoy of illegal off road vehicles today. Thank you for your calls of concern.
